Billy Yang, Los Angeles local filmmaker, trail runner, ultra-maniac, and all around good dude (he was supportive and courteous when he blew by me at the 2015 Ray Miller 50k) just released a new short film that follows the Nike Trail Team’s 2015 UTMB experience.

For the folks unfamiliar with UTMB, this race is seen as the pinnacle of the sport of ultramarathoning and has established itself as the premier annual race, in just 12 short years.

Yang’s film follows the top dogs of the fledgling Nike Trail Team, including Zach Miller, Tim Tollefson, and David Laney as they tackle the CCC (Chamonix-Courmayeur-Champex) 101k, and the UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) a 105 mile race through 3 countries and covers more than 33,000 feet of elevation gain.

Without further ado, please enjoy this hefty serving of European trail-porn, a sprinkling of suspense, and a steaming side-order of inspiration (I’m literally laying down to do a core workout after watching this and writing this post). Enjoy!
